Undergraduate Studies Committee

 

The Undergraduate Studies Committee works with the Department Head, Freshman Advisor, and ABET Coordinator to oversee the undergraduate program. The committee shall consist of four elected members of the Klipsch School tenured and tenure-track faculty. Terms of office begin July 1. The membership qualifications are

  • Two members shall be elected each year to two-year terms by secret ballot of the tenured and tenure-track faculty of the school. Vacancies on the Undergraduate Studies Committee likewise shall be filled by secret ballot of the tenured and tenure-track faculty of the school.
  • No technical area of the school may be represented by more than one elected member of the Undergraduate Studies Committee. Technical areas are determined by the tenured and tenure-track faculty of the school.
  • No faculty member may be elected to serve on the Undergraduate Studies Committee for more than four consecutive years (two terms).

    The committee is made up of four elected and three ex-officio faculty members:
